Mohindra's Exclusif

If you’ve ever been to Gaffar Market, you know how crazy it gets. We are right at No. 67 on Ajmal Khan Road. Mohindra's Exclusif is tucked away there among all the other shops. It’s a small space, really, but we pack a lot into it. Karol Bagh is always loud, and there’s always someone looking for something specific. We see all sorts of people walking through the doors. Some are just looking, others know exactly what they want. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us. My brother and I usually handle the customers while the boys help with the stock in the back. It’s cramped, especially when we get a new delivery, but we manage. Delhi is a tough city to run a business in, but we like the energy. You have to be quick on your feet here. We try to keep things honest. If something isn't in stock, we tell you straight. No point in making things up. The shop has been here through many changes in the neighborhood. We’ve seen stores come and go, but we’re still at No. 67. It’s a lot of long hours, standing on our feet and talking to people all day. By the time we close up, we’re pretty tired, but it’s a good kind of tired. Just a local shop in a busy market. We just keep going as best as we can.
