Our office is tucked away in Karol Bagh, specifically in Gali Number 15 at Beadon Pura. We are up on the first floor of building 2353, in shop number seven. It’s a busy part of Delhi, as anyone who lives here knows. We deal with shoes mostly, and the place is usually filled with samples and boxes. It’s not a fancy showroom where everything is polished to a shine. It’s more of a workspace where we get things done. Mehta Shoe Co has been around for some time, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of this neighborhood. The stairs up to the first floor can be a bit narrow, but we manage just fine. We spend a lot of time talking to suppliers and checking the footwear that comes through. It’s a lot of paperwork and phone calls throughout the day. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to make sure the shoes we handle are decent and that our business stays steady. The area around Beadon Pura is always humming with activity, which keeps us on our toes. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, or the rain makes the street messy, but we just keep working. It’s a practical setup for a practical business, and we like being right here in the middle of it all. We just take each day as it comes and keep the orders moving along. It keeps us quite busy most days and we like it.
