We’ve been here in Karol Bagh at Dev Nagar for quite some time now. Our place is at 6101/7 in Block No. 1. If you walk down the street, you’ll see the fabric rolls stacked up inside the shop. It’s usually pretty busy around this neighborhood. The dust from the road comes in sometimes, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the shelves and keeping the materials tidy. We deal with all kinds of clothes and fabrics every day. My brother and I handle most of the stuff ourselves, along with a couple of guys who help with the heavy lifting and the deliveries. People come in looking for specific shades or materials, and we try to find what they need in the piles. It gets a bit chaotic during the peak season when everyone wants their orders finished at the same time. The tea stall around the corner is where we usually get our afternoon break. It’s just a regular business day for us, nothing fancy or polished. We start early in the morning and stay until the shutters go down late at night. Sometimes the lights flicker when the grid is overloaded, but we just keep working through it. Karol Bagh is always loud with horns and people shouting, but you get used to the noise after a few years. We know most of the neighbors on this block now. It’s just how things are in this part of town. We don't have any big speeches to make. We just show up, move the fabric, talk to the customers, and go home.
