Richmond Brass

We're located at 207 Balram House in Karampura. Richmond Brass has been in this spot for a good amount of time now. The building is one of those older structures that has a lot of character, and maybe a few too many stairs to climb every day. We work with brass, so the place often has that specific metallic smell and there’s usually a bit of dust around the corners. It’s definitely not a fancy showroom type of place. It’s more of a workshop where we actually handle the materials and get things shaped into what they need to be. We have a small desk for the phone and the monthly bills, but the real work happens in the back area. Karampura is a busy industrial area, and we’re right in the thick of it. We know the other shop owners on the street and we stop to talk about the weather or business sometimes. It’s a grounded kind of life for us. We don't use big words or corporate jargon to describe what we do. We just take the raw material and make something useful out of it for our customers. Some days the machines are loud and it’s hard to hear the phone ringing, but we've gotten used to it. We don't have a big corporate ladder. It's just a few of us making sure the quality is okay before anything leaves the door. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy.
