If you have ever been to Ajmeri Gate, you know how busy the lanes can get with all the trucks and loaders moving around. We are tucked away in the Dayal Building at II/1760, and it’s a constant hum of activity from sunrise to sunset. Kapoor Trading Agency has been operating from this spot for years, dealing with all the supplies that come through the gate every day. The building itself is old and has a lot of character, though the stairs can be a bit much if you are carrying heavy files. We spend most of our time at the desks, handling orders and making sure the inventory is where it should be. It’s not a glamorous job, and the office usually has piles of ledgers and samples scattered around. The dust from the street always finds its way inside, but we’ve gotten used to it by now. We deal with all sorts of people, from local shopkeepers to big suppliers, and everyone is usually in a hurry. Sometimes we lose track of time when the phone starts ringing off the hook in the afternoon. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. It’s just a practical space where we get the work done. Being in Ajmeri Gate means we are right in the middle of the trade action, which is exactly where we need to be to keep things moving.
