Our head office is located at C-54, Gali No. 1/3, right on Tanki Road in Bhajanpura. If you know the area, you know the big water tank that everyone uses as a landmark. That’s how we tell people to find us. It’s a busy neighborhood with lots of narrow lanes and people everywhere. Kandi Elevators Co. has been squeezed into this spot for quite some time now. The office is on a street where you can always hear the sounds of the market and scooters buzzing past. We don't have a lot of space, so every corner is filled with something—blueprints, spare elevator parts, or old files. It’s a bit of a maze inside. We started small and just stayed here because it’s where our roots are. When the weather is good, we leave the door open, but mostly we keep it shut to block out the dust from Tanki Road. Our staff is a small group of people who know how to fix things. We don't go in for big meetings or polished presentations. Usually, if you come by, we’re on the phone or out at a site somewhere. It’s honest work. We deal with the ups and downs of the business, literally and figuratively. Living and working in Bhajanpura means you have to be tough and patient. We just do our bit and try to keep things moving for everyone. It is a humble place, but it works for what we need.
