Kanchan Radios

Kanchan Radios is located at Shop No. 61 in Shiva Market. This is right in the middle of Pitampura Village. It is an older part of Pitampura, and the streets are quite tight and crowded. Our shop is surrounded by other small businesses that have been here for decades. Even though the name says radios, we deal with all sorts of different electronics these days. The shop is small and packed from the floor all the way to the ceiling. You have to be careful where you step because there are often boxes sitting in the aisle. We have a small wooden stool for customers to sit on if they want to chat for a bit. The lighting isn't the best, but we have a good lamp on the workbench for the fine work. Pitampura Village has a specific feel to it, very different from the newer parts of the city with the big malls. There’s a lot of history in these narrow lanes. We see the same people every day walking past to the temple or the local vegetable market. Usually, we open up around mid-morning after the initial rush. It takes a while to get everything moved around so we can actually sit down at the desk. We don't really have a big staff, just a couple of us doing the daily tasks. It gets a bit cold in the winter because the door stays open. We just wear extra sweaters and keep working.
