Juyal Dressmaker

Juyal Dressmaker is over in Sector 16, Rohini. The address is B 1/7. It’s a residential area mostly, so it’s a bit quieter than being in the city center. We run things from here and it works out well. We handle dressmaking and tailoring. There’s always thread on the floor and pieces of cloth draped over chairs. It’s a creative mess, I suppose. We’ve been in Rohini for a long time. Our neighbors are our friends. People bring their clothes here when they need something fixed or made from scratch. We don't have a big shop window. Most people just know our house number and knock. We spend a lot of time at the sewing machines. You get used to the sound after a while. Sometimes we stay up late to finish a piece for a wedding or a party. We aren't a big factory. It’s just a few of us making sure everything fits right. We don't do any big marketing. If someone likes their dress, they tell their cousin or their neighbor. That’s how we get most of our work. The tea is always hot and we like to chat with the regulars while we measure them. It's a small life, but we enjoy the work we do. Sector 16 is a good place to be. It’s home for us. We just keep our scissors sharp and our heads down, making sure every single stitch is exactly where it should be.
