About Journal Of Biological Sciences And Medicine – Packaging Machines & Materials in Delhi
Our office is in Mayur Vihar-1, specifically 56-A Patparganj. It’s where we put together the journal. It’s a lot of reading and looking at screens. We aren't a big publishing house with hundreds of employees. It's just a few of us here. We get submissions from all over and we have to go through them. The space is filled with old copies and piles of papers. Sometimes it feels like we’re drowning in documents. We started this because there was a need for a place to put this kind of research. Mayur Vihar is a decent place to work, though parking is always a headache. We don't have a receptionist. If the bell rings, whoever is closest to the door gets it. It’s quiet work, mostly. We spend hours checking references and making sure the formatting is okay. It’s tedious but someone has to do it. We don't have a big marketing budget. We just put the issues out and hope they help someone. The light in the office isn't great, but we make do. We’ve been here for a good while and the neighbors know us as the people with all the books. It's just a regular office doing a specific job. No frills. We often stay late during the deadline week. It’s just how the publication cycle works for us and we are used to it by now. It’s a lot of small details to manage but we keep moving.
