J.K.Cement Ltd.

We’re based in Mayur Vihar Phase-2, in Flat 147-A over in Pocket-C. It’s a residential area in New Delhi, so the office for J.K.Cement Ltd. is tucked away in a quiet corner of the complex. It’s not like those big glass buildings you see in the city center. We just have a few rooms where we handle the administrative side of the cement business. We spend a lot of time on the phone with the plants and the distributors. Being in a flat means it’s a bit cozy, and sometimes the boxes of files take up a lot of space in the hallway. We have a small table where we have our lunch and talk about the day’s orders. It’s a very normal, everyday kind of place. People from the neighborhood sometimes drop by just to say hello or ask about cement prices. We don't have any flashy marketing stuff hanging on the walls. It’s mostly just maps of the city and schedules for the trucks. It can get a little hectic when everyone is trying to hit their targets at the end of the month, but mostly it's just steady work. We like the location because it’s easy to get to different parts of Delhi from here. It’s a practical base for us, and we’ve made it work for a long time. There's always someone here to help out if you need to talk about a delivery.
