Khera Garments Delhi

Working out of F-16 Jagat Puri means we are right in the heart of the local buzz here in Jitar Nagar. Khera Garments is basically a small team of us doing the daily grind. The space isn't huge, so we have to be smart about where we put everything. We’ve got shelves stacked up to the ceiling with different types of cloth and finished pieces ready to go. It’s a bit of a squeeze when we get a fresh delivery, but we manage. The floor is mostly covered in scraps and dust by the end of the day, so we spend the last twenty minutes sweeping up before we lock up. We don't have a big sign out front or a fancy lobby. It’s just a plain door that leads into our workspace. Most of our time is spent at the cutting tables or checking the stitching on the pieces we've finished. We don’t really do marketing; most people find us because they know someone who knows us. It’s a very local way of doing things. We have a small desk for the paperwork, but it’s usually buried under fabric samples. The atmosphere is casual, and we don't worry too much about being formal. We just want to get the garments done right and make sure they look okay. It’s a steady life, and we like the independence of running our own small shop in this busy part of Delhi.
