G. S. Footwears

We've been here at Jhilmil Colony for a while now. It's up on the second floor of the A-4 building. Most people find us because they live nearby or heard about us from a neighbor. G. S. Footwears isn't a fancy showroom or anything like that. We just focus on having enough stock for folks who need decent shoes or slippers for their daily lives. The space is a bit cramped sometimes with all the boxes piled up, but we know where everything is. Usually, it's just a couple of us working here, trying to keep things organized and helping customers who climb up the stairs to see what we have. We don't really do big advertisements. Most of the time, we're busy checking the quality of what comes in and making sure the sizes are right. Jhilmil is a busy spot, and being on the second floor means it's a bit quieter than the street, which is nice when you're trying to work. We handle all sorts of footwear, mostly stuff that people actually wear every day. Nothing too flashy. It gets a bit warm in the afternoons, but we get through the day. We try to be fair with everyone who walks in. It’s just a straightforward business, really. We've seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. If you're looking for us, just look for the A-4 sign and come up. We’re usually around from morning until the evening.
