S. S. C. Cosmetics

S. S. C. Cosmetics is just a small place near the gas agency on Patpargunj Road. We've been here for a while now, right in that lane behind the police station. It gets busy during the day with people coming in for their daily stuff. We keep all sorts of things on the shelves, mostly basic things people need for their skin or hair. It’s not a fancy showroom or anything. Some days the delivery trucks take forever to reach us because the road is so tight. We spend a lot of time just unpacking boxes and making sure everything is priced right. Sometimes the shop feels a bit cramped because there’s so much stock squeezed into Shop No-678. Most of our regulars live just around the corner in Khuranja. They stop by on their way home from work. We usually open up early and stay till late evening. It's a lot of standing around, honestly. The light inside isn't the brightest, but we know where everything is. If someone asks for a specific cream or soap, we can usually find it in a few seconds. We don't really do big advertisements. Most people just see the sign while walking to the gas agency. It's just a regular local shop where we try to keep the shelves full and the floor swept. Nothing too complicated about it. We just show up and do the work every day. It feels like home after all these years.
