S. R. Electricals Engineering Works

We are based over at B-17 in Jawahar Park, which is pretty close to Saket. S. R. Electricals Engineering Works is mostly a workshop full of wires, motors, and the smell of solder. It’s not the cleanest place in the world, but it’s where we do our work. We spend our time fixing electrical components and figuring out why things stopped running. There’s usually a radio playing in the background while we work, competing with the hum of the equipment. We’ve been here in Jawahar Park for a good stretch of time. Our regulars know they can just drop by and show us what’s broken. We don't have a big sales team or anything like that. It’s just the technicians and a couple of us helping with the parts. Sometimes we have to wait a few days for a specific piece to arrive, and the customer has to be patient. We try to explain things in plain English without using too much technical jargon. The shop is small, so when we get a big project in, things can get a bit tight. We just move a few benches around and make it work. It’s a practical life, and we enjoy the feeling of getting a machine back in working order. Saket is a busy area, but our little street in Jawahar Park feels a bit more like a community. We just keep our heads down and focus on the wires.
