You can find us at Number 5515 on Street Number 5. That’s in New Chandrawal, Jawahar Nagar. The street is pretty narrow, so getting large deliveries in and out can be a real headache sometimes. We have machines running most of the time. The sound of printing and the smell of ink is just part of the atmosphere in this shop. We do a lot of packing too. Boxes are stacked up to the ceiling in some of the corners. It’s a busy place and there’s always some paper dust in the air. We handle all sorts of printing jobs, from small flyers to bigger stuff. People from the neighborhood come in with all kinds of requests. We have to be really careful with the measurements because once it’s printed, you can’t really go back and fix it easily. My hands are usually stained with ink by lunchtime. We don't have any fancy waiting area for customers. It’s just a counter and the machines in the back. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to spend the whole afternoon trying to fix them. It's frustrating, but it’s part of the trade. We’ve been in Jawahar Nagar for years. We know the other shop owners on the street and it feels like a community. We just keep our heads down and get the orders out as fast as we can. It’s messy and loud, but it’s how we work.
