Jaiprakash Associates Limited uses this apartment as our main workspace for this area. It feels very much like a home because it is an apartment, after all. We’ve got our files stored in the cabinets and everyone has their own little corner to work in. Patpar Ganj is a pretty established neighborhood, so it feels very lived-in around here. The building has been around for a while and you can see that in the hallways. We don’t spend money on fancy decorations because we’d rather just focus on the work we have to do. The kitchen area is mostly used for making coffee and storing our lunch boxes. Sometimes it feels a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time, but we manage. There is a small balcony where someone usually goes to take a phone call or just get a bit of air. It’s not a corporate skyscraper, just a regular place in a regular building. We know the security guards by name and they know us. Most of our days are spent on the phone or typing away. It’s a practical environment for a business like ours. We like the convenience of being in this part of Delhi. It's just a simple, honest work spot for the team here.
