Jainsons Electronics

If you have ever been to Bhagirath Palace in Chandni Chowk you know how crazy the atmosphere is there. Our shop Jainsons Electronics is at 1832. It is a small space packed from floor to ceiling with components and wires and cardboard boxes. It is a bit of a maze once you step inside. You have to watch your head because things are hanging from the ceiling hooks. We have been in this market for decades. We know the other shopkeepers and we know the guys who deliver the tea every hour. It is loud and it is crowded and it is always moving. We do not have a quiet office to sit in. There is always someone asking for a specific fuse or a length of cable. We find things by memory mostly. If you ask for something obscure we probably have it in a drawer somewhere under three other things. We do not do fancy displays or have bright lights. We just have the stock people need. The walls are a bit peeling and the fan wobbles when it is on high but it gets the job done. Working in Chandni Chowk means you have to be fast and you have to know your stuff. We do not use a lot of high-tech systems to manage the shop. It is mostly just notebooks and pens. It is how we have always done it.
