We are over in Shahdara at E-404, Hardev Puri. Jai Prakash Associaties Ltd has been at this Delhi-93 address for a good stretch of time. Shahdara is a very crowded and busy part of East Delhi, and Hardev Puri is no exception. The streets are narrow, and there is always something going on outside. Our office is a simple place where we manage the local chores for the company. It’s not a polished corporate office; it’s more of a functional space. We have stacks of registers and a few computers that have seen better days. The walls are a plain color, and we have the usual office furniture. It gets quite loud during the day because of the traffic and the markets nearby. We usually have the radio on or just talk among ourselves while we work. It’s a very human environment. We don't use any fancy talk or try to impress anyone. People come in with questions or paperwork, and we help them out. The commute can be a bit of a struggle because of the Delhi traffic, but once we are here, we get into the routine. We’ve grown accustomed to the rhythm of Shahdara. It’s a busy, gritty part of town, and our office fits right in. We just keep our heads down and do the work that’s required of us every day, even when the humidity makes the office feel smaller than it is.
