Suhaag Bangles

If you find yourself in the Matia Mahal area of Delhi, you might come across Suhaag Bangles. We are situated at No. 1102, near Madarsa Hussain Baqsh and right by the famous J Masjid. This part of the city is always buzzing with people and the sounds of the market. Our shop is quite small and the shelves are packed from top to bottom with all sorts of bangles. We have glass ones, metal ones, and some with little beads or stones on them. It can get a bit overwhelming with all the colors, but that’s how a bangle shop should be. We’ve been here for many years, and the shop has stayed mostly the same. My family has been running this for a long time. We don’t have a website or do any fancy advertising. Most people just wander in while they are shopping in the neighborhood or coming from the mosque. The floor is old and the lighting isn't the best, but you can see the shine of the bangles well enough. During the festive seasons, it gets really crowded in here and we barely have room to move. We use simple paper to wrap up the purchases. It’s a humble way to make a living, but we enjoy being part of the local community. It’s just a normal, everyday shop where we try to help folks find what they need for their weddings or parties. Sometimes we sit out front when it's slow.
