Down here in Matiyara, specifically in the Sarai area of Vaishali, things move at a slightly different pace than the big cities. Our office is set up to manage the local infrastructure projects we have going on across this part of Bihar. It is a bit of a trek to get out here sometimes, but being close to the actual work sites is what matters most for us. We spend a lot of time dealing with the local geography and making sure our project plans fit the ground reality. The team is small but they know the Distt. Vaishali area inside and out. We deal with a lot of heavy machinery and coordination of labor from the surrounding villages. It isn't always easy work, especially when the monsoon rains start and the mud gets everywhere. We just focus on getting the daily tasks done. There isn't much in the way of corporate polish in our office; it’s mostly just a functional space where we drink our chai and plan out the next stage of whatever we are building. You won't find us spending much on fancy furniture because we’d rather have better tools for the field. We’ve been here long enough that the locals know who we are when they see our trucks. It's just a regular workplace for people who like to see things actually get built and don't mind getting their boots a little dirty.
