Our place is over at B-283-284 in the Mangolpuri Industrial Area, Phase-I. It is a big, busy area with a lot of warehouses and workshops. Itl Labs Pvt. Ltd. takes up a good amount of space here because of all the equipment we need. We do a lot of testing and measuring, so the rooms have to be set up a certain way. It’s not the kind of place you’d visit for the decor. There are wires and tubes and machines everywhere. We have some whiteboards on the walls where we scribble notes and numbers throughout the shift. The lighting is very bright so we can see what we are doing. Outside, the street is usually full of tempos and people moving crates. It can be a bit chaotic. We try to keep our part of the building as orderly as possible. Sometimes the dust from the industrial area tries to get in, so we are always wiping things down. We have a small kettle in the corner for tea, and that’s about it for luxuries. The team here is mostly technicians who have been doing this for a long time. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just run the tests, write down the results, and move on to the next one. It’s honest, hard work that keeps us busy from morning until late evening. There is always something to check.
