We are based in Flat-131 of the Shruti Apartments in Sector 7, Dwarka. It’s a bit different working for a big name like Itd Cementation India Ltd. out of an apartment, but it works for our team. We handle the regional paperwork and coordination from here. New Delhi is always fast, but Dwarka feels a little more manageable. We don’t have a lobby or a receptionist. If you come by, you’ll probably find someone drinking tea and looking at a laptop. We handle the logistics and the boring but necessary parts of construction engineering. It's a lot of emails and phone calls. The space is a bit cramped with all the files, but we know where everything is. We don't try to sound like a big corporation. We’re just the people on the ground making sure the nuts and bolts are tightened. Sometimes the elevators in the building act up, so we take the stairs. It keeps us moving. We like the quiet of the residential block because it lets us focus on the numbers. We aren't here to impress anyone with a fancy office. We are here to make sure the projects we manage actually get completed. It’s a straightforward way of living and working. We’ve been here for a while and the routine is solid. There is a lot to do every single morning when the sun comes up.
