Ism

Our office is located in Saidulajaib, which is right across from the D Block in Saket, New Delhi. If you have ever been to this part of South Delhi, you know how crowded it gets with all the shops and people moving around throughout the day. We are tucked away at number 96, sharing the space with Laxmi Narayan Yadav’s place. It is a bit of a maze getting here if you do not know the local landmarks well. The building itself is not anything special to look at, just a regular brick and concrete structure like almost everything else on this street. Inside, it is mostly just desks, chairs, and stacks of files that seem to grow every single week. We spend a lot of time here dealing with the daily tasks that come with running ISM. There is always noise coming from the street outside, car horns and people shouting, but you get used to it after a few days of working here. We do not have fancy coffee machines or a separate lounge area for breaks. Usually, we just get tea from the small stall nearby when we need a moment away from the screens. The summers in Delhi are really tough in an office like this, but we make do with the ceiling fans and some old air conditioners that rattle quite a bit. It is just us doing our thing in this corner of the city. We are not trying to be anything big.
