Isabelle Boutiques International

Our boutique is located at L-119 in Laxmi Nagar. It’s a busy neighborhood, and our shop is just one of many, but we’ve been here at Isabelle Boutiques International for quite a bit. It’s not a huge international corporation like the name might sound. We’re actually quite small. We do a lot of tailoring and custom work for people who live around here or come into Laxmi Nagar for their shopping. The front of the shop has some of our finished pieces on display, but the back is where the real work happens. We have a few sewing machines and a large table for cutting fabric. There is always a lot of chatter and the sound of iron steam. We don't have a polished showroom. It’s more of a working space where customers come in for measurements and fittings. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded when we have a few people in at once, but we make it work. We spend a lot of time picking out buttons and zippers that match the fabrics. It’s a lot of small details that you have to watch out for. We just want to make clothes that fit right and look decent. The traffic in Laxmi Nagar can be a nightmare, so we usually just stay inside and keep working until the sun goes down. It’s a simple business, run by people who just like to sew and make things.
