We are out in Vpo Jattol, which is in the Panipat district of Haryana. Our setup is pretty basic because we work as Iocl On Contract Basis. It’s a bit out of the way, but that’s where the work is. We handle a lot of the local labor and site coordination. There are always people coming in and out, asking about schedules or pay. It’s not a quiet place. We have a lot of ledgers and some old computers that we use to keep track of everything. The dusty roads around here mean the office needs cleaning a lot. We don't have a big corporate feel. It’s more like a community spot where we get things organized for the project. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish the logs. We've been doing this for a while now. The team is mostly local guys from the village and nearby areas. We just try to keep the contracts running smoothly without too much fuss. It is hard work but it's what we know. There’s always someone drinking tea and talking about the day’s work. We don't really use computers for everything, a lot of it is still done by hand.
