If you head over to H-No 125A in the Janta Flats area of West Punjabi Bagh, you’ll find us. Interior Furnishers Company has been operating from this New Delhi address for a good while. It’s a small operation, mostly focused on getting the right furniture and curtains into people's homes. We don't spend much money on advertising because we’d rather just let the work speak for itself. Most of our day involves talking to vendors or checking on the quality of some wood that just arrived. Punjabi Bagh is a busy place, and we are right in the middle of it. We see a lot of people who are tired of their old furniture and just want something that doesn't break after a year. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just look at a room, listen to what the person wants, and try to find a way to make it happen without spending a fortune. It’s about being practical and using common sense. Sometimes we’re dragging heavy rolls of fabric around, and other times we’re sitting at a desk trying to make the numbers add up. It’s not a corporate lifestyle by any means. It’s just us in a small flat in Delhi, trying to make houses look a bit better than they did before we showed up. We don't have a big team, just a few people who know how to handle a hammer and a measuring tape. It works for us and the people who hire us.
