Interior Designer

Being an interior designer in Noida is a bit of a whirlwind. The city is growing so fast, and there’s always a new apartment building going up somewhere. We operate out of here and spend most of our days stuck in traffic between different sectors or checking on a project site. It isn't always glamorous work. A lot of it is just measuring walls three times to make sure we didn't make a mistake the first time. We work with what we have and try to make the most of the space. Sometimes a client wants something that just won't fit, and we have to explain why a giant sofa is a bad idea for a small flat. We don't have a fancy storefront or a big marketing budget. Most people find us because they saw a neighbor's house we worked on. We deal with the local suppliers and know which ones will actually deliver on time and which ones will leave us waiting for weeks. It’s about building those relationships so the work gets finished. Some days are spent looking at fabric swatches until our eyes hurt, and other days we are just supervising the carpentry work. Noida has its own style, and we’ve learned to adapt to it. It’s just us, some tools, and a lot of sketches trying to turn a bare room into something that feels like home. We don't do anything too fancy, just honest work that makes sense for the people living there.
