Being located in Bhagirath Place means dealing with the madness of Chandni Chowk every single morning, but that’s where we are. We have units 1551 through 1554 on the first floor, which sounds like a lot of space, but once you fill it with insulation materials, it gets small pretty fast. At Insulation Solutions, we deal with rolls of foam, fiberglass, and all sorts of sheets that are supposed to keep the heat or cold where it belongs. The building is old and the hallways are narrow, so moving large rolls around is always a bit of a struggle. We’ve had to learn how to navigate the crowds outside just to get a sandwich or some tea. Inside the shop, it’s a bit quieter than the street, but not by much. We have stacks of inventory reaching up to the ceiling, and sometimes we have to climb a ladder just to see what’s in the back. It’s a dusty job, and the fibers from some of the materials can get on your clothes, but we don’t mind it. We don't have a fancy showroom; if someone wants to see a product, we just pull a piece out and show it to them right there. People come in looking for ways to fix up their buildings, and we just tell them what we have available in the stacks. It’s a busy, cramped, and honest way to spend the day.
