Ms Leather

Ms Leather is over at 35/20 Inder Enclave Phase 1, and we are quite close to the Mangal Bazar Road and Haridas Vatika. The area is usually full of shoppers and local traffic, so there is always something to see out the window. Working with leather is a messy business, and our shop reflects that with scraps and tools scattered across the workbenches. You can smell the hides as soon as you step inside the door. We spend our days cutting, skiving, and stitching different pieces together. It’s hard work on the hands and you have to be careful with the knives. The proximity to Mangal Bazar means we get a lot of people asking for directions or just stopping by to see what the smell is. We have a few heavy-duty machines that make a lot of noise, so it’s rarely quiet during the day. Sometimes we have to move everything around just to find a specific piece of hardware or a different color of thread. It’s not a showroom, it’s a workshop where things actually get built from scratch. Haridas Vatika is a nice landmark to give people when they are trying to find us for the first time. The team here is small and we mostly just focus on the task in front of us without much fuss or bother.
