Indian Speciality Tapes

Indian Speciality Tapes is based out in Sector-2 of the Bawana Industrial Area. We are at E-6, which is easy enough to find if you know the layout of the sector. The area is mostly factories and warehouses, so it’s pretty dusty and loud most of the time. We spend the day around the tape machines and the big rolls of material. It’s not the kind of job where you wear a suit. We’re usually in our work clothes, covered in a bit of adhesive or dust by lunch. The morning starts early because the commute to Bawana can be a real pain if you hit the traffic. Once we’re here, it’s all about keeping the production going. We have a small corner for the office work where we keep the records in big binders. The fans are always running to keep the air moving, but it still gets pretty stuffy. We don’t really bother with a lot of talk; we just focus on getting the rolls cut and packed properly. Sometimes we have a bit of a laugh during the tea break near the main gate. The building is a simple concrete structure, nothing special to look at, but it’s where we spend twelve hours a day. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing. There isn't any secret to it, just showing up at E-6 and making sure the machines are running.
