Indian Oil Corporation

Our office is located in the Ekta Park Society, right on Vatava Road in Isanpur. It is a busy part of Ahmedabad, and the area is always full of activity. We have been here at B-51 for a while now, handling things for Indian Oil Corporation. It is not like those big headquarters you see on TV. Our space is functional and a bit lived-in. We have posters on the walls about safety and some old calendars that we haven't taken down yet. The daily routine involves a lot of checking on local fuel supplies and talking to the truck drivers who come through this part of town. Isanpur can be quite dusty, and we are always cleaning the windows, but it never stays clean for long. We have a small staff, and we all know each other's business. We aren't doing anything flashy here, just making sure the fuel gets where it needs to go in the city. Some days are faster than others, especially when there is a holiday coming up and everyone needs petrol. We just keep the records straight and deal with whatever problems the day brings. It is a local operation with a lot of moving parts, but we manage to stay on top of it without too much trouble. Sometimes we order food from the local stalls and eat right at our desks to save time.
