Indian Oil Corporation, Pipelines Divisio

We work out of the Sarita Vihar office in New Delhi, specifically at L-328. This is the Pipelines Division of Indian Oil, which means our focus is a bit more specific than some of the other branches. Sarita Vihar is a busy area, but our street stays relatively calm compared to the main roads. The work we do here is mostly technical and administrative, keeping an eye on the infrastructure that moves fuel across the region. It’s not the kind of thing you see on the news, but it’s essential. Our office isn't decorated with expensive art or fancy rugs. It’s a functional space with a lot of maps and monitoring equipment. The staff here are mostly engineers and logistics experts who have been in the industry for years. Phone calls and data entry take up most of our morning. There’s always someone coming in or out with a clipboard or a laptop. We don’t have a mission statement on the wall. Our team just knows what needs to be done every morning when we walk through the door. The neighborhood has plenty of places to grab a quick lunch, which is nice when things get hectic. Working in Delhi has its challenges, like the pollution and the commute, but we’ve built a solid routine here in Sarita Vihar. We just keep the pipelines running and the paperwork moving, one day at a time, making sure things stay steady for everyone involved in the process from start to finish.
