This location in Kota is a bit unique because of the connection to the Western-Central Railway. We are set up at 72/3 Mayur Colony, which is right near the Kota Junction. Sh. Ram Kumar Gupta has been involved with the engineering side of the rails for a long time, and that is how we ended up here. Working for Indian Oil Co. Ltd. from this spot means we are always aware of the trains moving nearby. The house is a typical colony residence that we use for our operations. It isn't a massive complex with a thousand employees. It is more of a family-oriented setup where we manage the local requirements for the oil company. We deal with a lot of technical documents and railway-related logistics because of where we are located. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit overwhelming, especially when there are changes in the rail schedules or fuel needs. We just sit around the big wooden table and sort through it all. The neighborhood is quiet for the most part, except for the train whistles. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to answer the phones with a scripted greeting. If you call, you just get one of us. We just try to keep the supply lines running smoothly for the engines and the station. It is a lot of small details that most people never see.
