Indian Air Force

We are out here in Nilauthi, which is a small village in the Jhajjar district. Most people around here know where the post office is, and we are right there in that same pocket of Haryana. It is a quiet place most of the time, especially in the afternoons when the sun is really hitting the fields. The air is different here than in the big cities, a bit more dust and the smell of the crops. Our office isn't anything fancy to look at. It is just a practical space where we handle what needs to be handled for the Indian Air Force. There are a few of us who have been here for a while now, so we know the routine pretty well. We come in, get the files sorted, and make sure everything is ticking along. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and talk until it comes back on. It is not like those movies where everything is high-speed and intense. Most days are just about doing the paperwork and making sure the local area is taken care of. You might see a few of us walking down to the main road to get some tea or just to stretch our legs. It is a steady life here in Jhajjar, and we just keep our heads down and do the work that is expected of us without making too much of a fuss about it.
