Independent Consultant

I've been working from this flat in Vijay Mandal Enclave for a while now. It’s on the first floor, Flat 1-B, right across from IIT on Aurobindo Marg. Hauz Khas is a busy spot, but this corner of the DDA SFS flats stays relatively quiet most days. Being an independent consultant means I handle everything myself. There’s no big office or fancy reception desk here. Just a desk, a couple of chairs for when someone drops by, and a lot of papers. Usually, the day starts with tea and looking over whatever project is on the table. Sometimes people find it hard to spot the entrance because the buildings all look similar, but once you’re up the stairs, it’s easy. I like being near the metro and the park. It makes the work feel less heavy. I don't really do the whole corporate thing with long meetings. Instead, I just get the work done right here. Most of my clients are local, though some come from across the city. It’s a simple setup. If the bell rings, it’s usually the courier or someone I’m expecting for a quick chat about a project. I've been in Delhi a long time, and this spot works well for what I do. It’s practical. No bells or whistles, just a solid place to focus and handle the consulting side of things. It’s been my base for quite some time now.
