Ijm (India) Infrastructure Ltd.

We are set up in Village Khedli, right opposite the Navodaya Vidyalaya. It’s a quiet area in the Dausa district of Rajasthan. The Bhandarej post office is the local landmark for us. Ijm (India) Infrastructure Ltd has a bit of a different pace here compared to the big cities. The air is dustier, and the sun is much stronger. We have a yard where we keep the heavy machinery. Most of our day is spent making sure the equipment is running right and that the road work is progressing. The office itself is a simple building. We don't have any fancy air conditioning, just some ceiling fans that work pretty hard. It’s a practical environment. We know all the people in the village. Sometimes they stop by just to chat or see what we are building. The work involves a lot of outdoor hours. We deal with the heat as best as we can. It’s a lot of manual labor and coordinating trucks. We’ve been part of this landscape for a while now. There’s no big corporate culture here, just a bunch of people working on the infrastructure. We keep our records in big ledgers and try to stay on top of the site needs. It’s honest work under the Rajasthan sky. We don't look for praise, we just look to get the road finished before the season turns.
