Ijm India Infrastructure Ltd At Delhi Metro Rail Project

We are currently set up in Dilshad Garden for the Delhi Metro Rail Project. The office is at C-61 in the Z-3 block. If you have ever been to this part of Delhi, you know how crowded it gets. We are right in the middle of all that chaos. Our days start early because the metro work never really stops. There is always a crane moving or a truck backing up somewhere nearby. The office itself is just a place to keep the files and have quick meetings. We don't spend much time sitting down. Usually, we are out on the tracks or checking the concrete pillars. It gets very loud with the traffic and the construction noise. We have been working on this stretch for quite some time. It's a lot of coordination with the city and other contractors. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, especially when it rains and everything turns to mud. We just wear our boots and keep going. My boots are always covered in grey dust. We aren't here to make things look pretty; we are here to build the infrastructure people use every day. It’s a messy business but someone has to do it. We have a small team here at Dilshad Garden and we mostly just talk about timelines and safety. It’s a practical life without much fuss or any fancy talk. We just focus on the concrete and the steel.
