I J M India Infrastructure Ltd.

Our office is in Laxmi Nagar, specifically at Flat No. 11, D 95 on Street No. 4. If you know New Delhi, you know that Laxmi Nagar is a very crowded place with a lot of small businesses packed together. We are part of I J M India Infrastructure, so we spend most of our time dealing with construction and big building projects. The office isn't very large, it’s basically just a flat that we’ve converted into a workspace. We have a few desks, some computers, and a lot of files stacked up against the walls. It gets a bit cramped when the site engineers come back for meetings, but we make it work. Most of the real action happens out at the sites where the actual building is going on. Here, we just handle the administrative side, the planning, and the phone calls. It’s a lot of talking to vendors and checking on the progress of different jobs. Sometimes the power goes out or the street gets blocked by a delivery truck, which is just part of living and working in this neighborhood. We don’t have a big sign outside or anything like that. We just show up, do the hours, and try to keep everything on track for the infrastructure projects we are responsible for. It is a lot of work but it keeps us all very busy.
