Telex Tailors Drapers

Our shop is tucked away in D Block of the Safdarjung Enclave area, right at House No C-29. Being so close to AIIMS means there is always people moving around outside. We’ve been at this for quite some time, focusing on tailoring and drapery work. It’s a lot of measuring, cutting, and stitching every single day. The tables are usually covered in rolls of fabric and half-finished suits or curtains. We don't have a big showroom with bright lights. Instead, it’s more of a working space where you can hear the sewing machines humming from the street. Customers come in with their own ideas or sometimes just a piece of cloth they want turned into something wearable. We listen, take notes, and try to get the fit right. Sometimes we get behind schedule because some jobs take longer than others, especially when the details are tricky. We try our best to keep up. It's just a few of us here, and we know our regulars by their names and their preferences. Living and working in this part of Delhi keeps us busy enough. We aren't doing anything revolutionary, just making clothes and drapes that fit well and look decent. If you need something hemmed or a whole new outfit, we’re usually around at the shop during regular hours.
