Hindustan Construction Company, or HCC as most people call us, operates from a DDA Janta Flat over in Badarpur. It’s unit 557 to be exact. We are right here in New Delhi, dealing with the daily grind of the construction business. Our space isn't big, but it’s enough for us to handle the paperwork and coordinate with our crews out in the field. Working from a Janta flat keeps our overhead low, which is how we like it. We focus on getting the jobs done rather than having a shiny glass office. Most days are spent on the phone or looking at site drawings spread out over the kitchen table that we use as a desk. Badarpur is a busy place with lots of dust and traffic, so we're right in the middle of everything. We've been at this address for a bit now and the neighbors know us. Sometimes we have people dropping by to ask about small repairs or bigger projects they're planning. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us doing the work we know how to do. Construction can be tough with all the permits and material shortages, but we've learned to deal with the ups and downs. We just keep our heads down and finish one project before moving to the next one. It’s honest work and we take it one day at a time without any fuss.
