Our base is at 86, Canal View Apartment in Rohini Sector-15. It’s a bit of a different setup being in a residential apartment complex, but it works for us. We have enough space for our files and a couple of tables where we can spread out the big drawings. New Delhi is a massive place, and being in the north in Sector-15 means we are close to a lot of the newer developments. The view of the canal is alright, though we don't spend much time looking out the window. Usually, we are too buried in paperwork or on the phone trying to track down a missing shipment of cement. It’s a no-frills kind of office. We don’t have a secretary out front, so if the bell rings, whoever is closest just goes and opens the door. Most people who come by are either workers or people we’ve known for years. We aren't interested in looking like a big corporation with polished floors. We just want a place where we can sit down and solve the problems that come up every day on a construction site. The summer heat in Delhi is no joke, so the AC is always huming in the background while we work. It’s a practical, busy little office where we just get things done without making a big deal out of it.
