Our place is at A-8/4 in the Jhilmil Industrial Estate. It’s one of those older industrial areas where you can hear the sounds of work from every building as you walk down the street. We’ve been here for quite a while, and the building shows its age, but it serves us well for what we do. Inside, it’s mostly taken up by the polytech production equipment. The floor is concrete and often has a few scuffs and marks from moving heavy parts around. We aren't here to win any design awards for the office; we’re here to produce things. The staff consists of a few locals who have been doing this for a long time. We have a routine that we stick to every day, starting with a check of the machines and then getting straight into the production run. It can get quite warm in the summer, so we keep the big doors open to catch whatever breeze there is. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just make the products, check they are okay, and get them loaded onto the trucks. Most of our day is spent making sure nothing breaks down and that we have enough raw material to keep going. It’s a simple, hardworking atmosphere where everyone just gets on with their tasks.
