Hayatt Interiors

We've been over here at Jain Park in Uttam Nagar for a while now. Most people know the house number 94 because it's where we handle everything for Hayatt Interiors. It’s a busy spot near A.S Tomar's place. We started this because we liked working on houses and seeing how things change after some paint and new fittings. It isn't a fancy office with big glass windows or anything like that. It’s just us working out of a residential area where people actually live. Sometimes the street gets a bit crowded with traffic, but that’s just how it is in this part of Delhi. We spend most of our days talking to people about what they want to do with their rooms or shops. It’s hard work and some days are longer than others, especially when we have to figure out measurements or where to source materials from without spending too much. We try to keep things straightforward. If someone comes by, they usually just knock on the door and we have a chat. We aren't trying to be some huge international firm. We just want to get the job done right so the person is happy and we can move on to the next thing. It’s been a learning process for all of us here. Some days the dust is everywhere and the noise is a lot, but that’s part of the trade. We just keep going, day by day, making sure the wood and the tiles look okay and everything fits right.
