A. K. S Bath Fitting

A. K. S Bath Fitting is right in the heart of the old city area, specifically Peepal Mahadev in Hauz Quzi. It is a very tight space with narrow streets where you can barely fit a rickshaw sometimes. Our shop is packed to the ceiling with all sorts of taps, pipes, and metal fixtures. It is a bit of a maze inside, but we know exactly which shelf holds the brass valves and which one has the chrome fittings. The building is old, and you can feel the history in the walls as you walk through. We spend our days dealing with the noise of the street outside and the clanking of metal parts inside. It gets quite dusty with all the construction items moving in and out, so there is always a layer of fine grit on the counters. We use an old wooden table for all our paperwork, and the drawer sticks every time you try to open it. Most of the people who come in are local contractors or residents from around Hauz Quzi who need a specific part for a repair. We do not do anything fancy with the display; we just stack things where they fit. It is a busy, noisy, and cramped way to work, but it is what we know. There is a certain rhythm to the chaos of the market here that we have become a part of over the years. We just keep the shop open and stay ready.
