Bio Medical Waste Services

We’ve been working out of Jb/38 B Hari Enclave for a while now. Bio Medical Waste Services isn't exactly the kind of job people dream about when they are kids, but it’s what we do. Every morning, the trucks get ready to go out and collect what the clinics and hospitals leave behind. It’s a lot of yellow and red bags, mostly. We have to be careful with how we handle everything because nobody wants a mess with this kind of stuff. The office is tucked away in the enclave, and it gets pretty busy around here during the middle of the day. We spend a lot of time checking paperwork and making sure the drivers know where they are going. Sometimes the traffic around this part of town makes everything take twice as long as it should. It’s just me and a few others trying to keep things moving. We don’t have fancy furniture or a big sign, just the work that needs doing. It gets hot in the summer and the smell can be a bit much if the wind blows the wrong way, but you get used to it. Mostly we just focus on getting the waste moved out so it’s not sitting around where it shouldn't be. It's a steady rhythm of loading and unloading. We know the neighbors and they know us, even if we are just the people with the waste trucks. It’s a necessary part of the city and we just do our bit every single day.
