Haans India is situated right in Shastri Nagar, a place that stays pretty busy from dawn until dusk. Our office isn't anything special to look at from the outside, just a standard building in a row of others. Inside, we have our desks and some filing cabinets, and maybe a few piles of papers that need sorting through. It’s the kind of place where you know everyone’s name and who is responsible for what. We don't spend much money on decorations or fancy furniture because we’re too busy actually working. The street outside can get quite loud with the scooters and the local vendors, but we’ve gotten used to the noise over time. Most of our day is spent on the phone or working on the computer, trying to keep track of everything that’s going on. We take our lunches together sometimes at the small shop around the corner. It’s a very grounded way of running a business. We don't try to act like we are some big multinational corporation; we are just a local team in Shastri Nagar doing our best to keep things moving. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit for the generator to kick in, but that’s just part of living and working here. We try to be honest about what we can do and we don’t make promises we can’t keep. It’s just a simple, hardworking atmosphere that we’ve built over the years here.
