Guided Control System

Our office for Guided Control System is at G 29 in Vishwa Sadan, over in the Janakpuri District Centre. It’s a ground floor spot, which makes it easier when we have to move equipment in and out. We deal with control systems, which basically means we work on the brains of different machines. It’s a lot of wiring and checking circuits. The space is a bit cramped because we have boxes of components stacked up against the walls. We’ve been here for a bit now and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the building. It’s not a corporate headquarters; it’s more of a workshop where we get our hands dirty. Sometimes we have to go out to client sites to install things, and those days are long and tiring. When we are in the office, we’re usually hunched over a schematic or testing a panel. We don't have a receptionist, so if the phone rings, whoever is closest just picks it up. We aren't big on titles or formalities here. We just want the systems to work right so the clients don't have to call us back for repairs. It’s about being thorough and not rushing the job. The lighting could be better, and the air conditioning is a bit loud, but it’s our space and it works for us. We just keep our heads down and do the work without making a big fuss about things.
