Chuna Mandi is a busy place, and that’s where you’ll find us at 2941/3. Being near Paharganj means there’s always noise and people moving around outside. We deal with Garnet plywood and other wood products right from this spot. The shop is often crowded with stacks of material, so there isn't much room to walk around. We don’t mind the cramped space much because it means we have what people need. Most mornings start with unloading trucks and checking the quality of the ply. New Delhi is a tough place to do business sometimes with all the traffic, but we’ve made it work here. We talk to contractors and carpenters all day long. They know exactly what they want, and we just try to find it in the stacks. The floors are usually covered in a bit of sawdust, which is normal for a place like this. We don’t have a fancy reception area. If you come in, you’ll probably see us middle of a conversation or writing out an invoice by hand. It’s a very hands-on job. We’ve been in this market for a while, and the other shopkeepers are like neighbors. We keep the lights on and the doors open for anyone looking for decent wood for their furniture. It’s just how we run things every day.
