Ioc Apparels is located in the M Block Market of Greater Kailash-2. If you’ve ever been to GK-2, you know how packed it gets, especially in the evenings when everyone comes out to eat and shop. Our place is right there in the middle of it. It’s a great spot to be because there’s always something happening, but it’s also a nightmare for parking. We usually tell people to just take an auto if they’re coming to see us. The office is small and we’ve lived with the same old furniture for years. We do a lot of work with apparel, mostly just coordinating between different workshops. It's a lot of checking sizes and making sure the colors are right. We don't have a big staff, just me and two other guys who have been here since the start. We spend a lot of time walking over to the nearby stalls for snacks and tea. The market has changed a lot over the years, with new shops opening and old ones closing, but we’ve managed to stay put. We don't really have a mission statement or anything fancy like that. We just try to get the orders right and keep things moving. It’s a lot of manual work and paperwork, and sometimes the electricity goes out and we just have to wait. It’s just part of working in an old market like M Block.
