You can find Gospel Adhesive Tapes Pvt. Ltd. over on the Main Road in Jagjeet Nagar. The building at E-94/6 is where we do everything from coating the film to cutting the rolls down to size. It’s a bit of a sticky place, literally, because adhesive is what we do all day long. There is a specific smell to the glue that hits you as soon as you walk through the front door. We have some older machines that need a bit of coaxing to get started in the morning, but they run smooth once they warm up. The traffic out on the Main Road is always heavy, so there is a constant background of horns and engines. We have a small crew here, mostly local guys who live nearby and walk to work. We don't have fancy desks or a lobby. Most of the space is taken up by giant jumbo rolls of tape waiting to be processed. Sometimes the rolls are stacked so high you can't see the back wall. We spend a lot of time checking the tackiness and making sure the edges are clean. It’s repetitive work, but we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of it over the years. We usually stop for a break around one o'clock and sit out by the side of the road for some air. It’s just a normal factory life here in this corner of the city, focusing on the tapes we produce.
